The antistatic film, or more appropriate the low tribocharging film, is made from a PE film in which are added particular agents. These agents give to the film its antistatic properties.
The shielding packaging are used principally in the electronic sector and guaranty a total protection through the shield by dispersing the charges on its surface.
The moisture barrier film or dry-pack finds its applications principally in the electronic sector and offer protection against both ESD (shielding) and moisture absorption.
The conductive packaging is used where a fast dispersion of electrostatic charges is desired. However, the film is opaque or non-transparent. Therefore it is not possible to see through, unless opening the packaging, to see what is inside or to read the labels stuck on the components packed inside. These packaging are used principally in the chemical, varnish and explosive sectors.
