Trinamic Motion Control Modules (TMCM) are embedded motion control sub-systems targeted toward OEM applications in e.g. lab automation, office automation, embedded industrial control and automated optics with volumes up to a few 1000 units per year. These credit-card-sized PCBs are complete application-specific-embedded-systems for the control of single and multiple stepper motors.
The modules combine Trinamic's dedicated position control and driver chip sets with extensive experience in designing custom and off the shelf motion control solutions. The TMCM series specifically addresses the needs of the OEM market by offering flexible software as well as hardware interfaces, compact size and competitive pricing. A powerful, yet easy-to-use programming environment makes stepper control as simple as a few mouse clicks. Significantly reducing project design time and cost as well as design risk, an average of 6 months' faster time to market compared to an in-house-development can be achieved.
